Kinki Kids Fukuoka Concert 1 Oct

I bet by now you would have read the con reports already so shall not say much but I suddenly remember during yesterday’s concert Koichi was called "Hage!" again by his fans and he groused to stop calling him that but later sorta accepted it but still insisted he was ‘Ouji’. LOL.

The weather is much warmer today I could walk around without my jacket. We saw this at a bus-stop:

I think it’s pretty cool – to have shuttle buses to the dome AND not to mention many commuters will see that Kinki Kids are having a concert. HAHA.

While waiting outside the dome, we were randomly approached by this Japanese girl. We were a ltitle taken aback and couldn’t digest what she was saying so we asked her to repeat again. LOL. She thought we were locals! Not too bad eh? Haha. She asked us to sing Anniversary to the boys at the end of the concert to show them our appreciation. We of course agreed but predicted it won’t happen anyway cause it take a big group to start the song and it will be too noisy at the end. We took a picture with her. Check out her outfit:

We were seriously happy to meet such an enthusiastic fan.

Anyway, I saw Tsuyo closer yesterday on the moving stage twice. How can anyone look so cute? The first time he was like, somewhere at the center of the moving stage when he was approaching my area but I was at the side area below the stage so I was like, "NOOOOOOOO!! TSUYOSHIIIII!!" Then from the bottom I saw his shadow approaching to my area and when I finally laid eyes on him so close, I could see those eyes, hair and adorable face of his, my eyes sprang afresh with new tears.

Truly both of them were amazing. I am so proud to be a Kinki Kids fan.

Kinki Kids Fukuoka Concert 30th September

I’m just gonna type this as fast as I can just in case I forget the most important day of my life to date. YES I SAW KINKI FINALLY!!!
But first –  check out the con goods I bought. CLose to 16k yen worth for my side, then when I went back to the hotel and opened some, I realised – SHIT I WANT ANOTHER KEITAI STRAP AND CHOPSTICKS!! We arrived early at around 8.45am to queue for the goods, anticipating a lonnnnng queue but no we were near 5th or 6th in line! LOL. Due to typhoon in Taiwan or somewhere, it had been raining non-stop since we arrived in Fukuoka. Met Caroline as known as Chosoo on LJ and she was the first in line!

We queued for effing 4 hrs till 1pm before we were allowed to purchase the goods and when I saw Koichi’s poster full-blown I was like, ‘Shit, I gotta get him too! He looks too handsome! ‘

People hard at work in the morning under the rain an the queue of poeple under the walkway…

My friends keeping themselves entertained. Thank God I didn’t throw away that Universal Studio poncho – served good use as a mat! Drey was sleeping..haha.

I look like a bunny.

I left the posters with Meiyan in the safety of her poster storage container. I am DETERMINED to frame them up because both of em looked so handsome in the picture. I didn’t get the group poster though, doesnt’t look nice. Bought 1 more extra file and cup. Was forced to buy the shopping bag at 600yen I tell you cause I didn’t have an extra bag but it was pretty anyway so I bought it but it got wet in the rain.

AND NOW

We got through the front guys without any problem cause we all had cameras but damn, as soon as I tried to sneak another picture after this I was caught! Had it confiscated and forgot to retrieve it until I was walking towards the bus-stop after the concert. Audrey reminded me and I was SHIT and ran across the road when it was red light. OMG. Didn’t even notice it until Ceci yelled to me when I was already running.

I was seated at C block at the stands, near the side of the stage but little too high at the 17th row. I dozed off for 5 minutes at 10minutes before the concert before I was awoken by the cries of "KINKI, KINKI!"by 2 girls in the arena. At the stroke of 6pm, the lights went out totally and suddenly – "Omoikiri dakiyoserareru to kokoro~" and the bright lights lit up on stage! I was like " OMG AI NO KATAMARI AND I HEAR THEIR VOICES!!"  Tears just came and I was so so touched.

The center ‘wall’ of the stage started lowering and my idols stood at the top of the staircase singing and really, tons of thoughts just flashed through my head.

"OMG IT’S HAPPENING OMG I SEE THEM FINALLY OMG WHY DOES TSUYO LOOK UNWELL OMG WHY DO THEY SOUND UNSTABLE THE SONG IS LITTLE TOO SLOW, IS TSUYO FEELING UNWELL?!"

I shrieked to Audrey beside me, "OMG WHY IS TSUYO SO HANDSOME??!!" He was sporting a short hair cut now, reminds me of Kindaichi and he does look younger. They descended the stairs and I was so worried for Tsuyo cause he didn’t look ok and  sounded a little nasal some sort but I was SO relieved when after he spoke during a short MC of greetings to his fans. After Ko’s normal "Domoto Koichi desu", from what I could understand, (Sorry I won’t be accurate cause I suck at my Jap), Tsuyo thanked the fans for coming despite the rain and typhoon and I think he asked if we were alright from the rain and ended his short introduction with AISHITERU. The crowd went wild and I was estatic with joy as if he was saying it to me and me only.

During Hommani Taiyou ni Shitemasen (not too sure of title), Koichi suddenly went ‘young and energetic’ as he put it to fans rather than being ‘matured and cool’, and started dancing in a wild exaggerated manner with arms flailing and had us all laughing at his baka antics. At a part he acted as if so tired he couldn’t dance and bent over to rest. At the end of the song, he lied exhausted on the stage breathing hard. BWAHAHA. According to Ceci, she thinks he might purposely be doing this to ward attention away from Tsuyo being unwell athe beginning.

During MC, they did the wife and hubby act again(kyaaaa) Tsuyo was speaking in a high voiced manner, simply acting cute and melting my heart. He complained Koichi was being cold to him lately and wanted him to be more gentle. In his ‘anger’, he hid behind curtains at the entrance to the stage and Koichi tried to lure him out again with packets of sugar. He gave up at the 3rd packet when Tsuyo refused to even stick his head out. Tsuyo called out "Which is more important, your job or me?" and Koichi said JOB. Tsuyo then said he will be going to Paris and Koichi was silent for a moment, as if thinking hard how to pacify his ‘wife’. Tsuyo came out and engaged in a self act of him being alone and lonely on the plane and some guy tried to chat her up. LOL. So he was like, woman for a moment, then man. OH and he played the role of the air hostess too, asking to himself, "Beef, or chicken?"

"Chicken."

HAHA. I have more to write but I gotta go now as I think my friends are waiting. But just to let you know, they sang around 18 or 19 songs, repeated Ai no Katamari and Secret code. They also recorrected their unstable started of Ai No Katamari cause according to their explanation, they were supposed to come in don’t know which beat but the music in their earphones was unclear or what at the moment they missed the starting and did not start of properly. OH YES they sang my favourite songs, Hakka Candy and Mou Kimi and To Heart and Eien ni! CRY CRY.

DID I SAY THEY GAVE TWO ENCORES? I so did not expect them to give anothe encore and jumped up in joy when they appeared on stage again. Koichi said at the end that he didn’t know why they gave a 2nd encore when his dancers and partners had commitments like having just given birth or got married recently. Audrey asked if 2 encores is the max they give I was like, yeah, 2 is considered good already but she said Arashi normally gives like 3 or 4 encores. LOL. They have more group members so double the engery? Kidding.

Really gotta go or they might just loop my head off. SO glad I am going for the 2nd time today. Arena seat C block! I will scream more even more today because it’s the last.

最後、一生に楽しいやろう!

PS: Tae chan! I would say yes! Tsuyo was genki!! Smiling till I wish I could pinch his cheeks and hug him so tightly! Hehe!

Before Concert

Good Morning!!! The time now in Japan is 7.36am and as soon I finish my breakfast I am off to buy con goods!! Fukuoka seems like a small town and I kinda like the subway stations cause of the gates which line the platform. The weather these days have been rainy!! Hope it doesn’t rain when I step outta the hotel.

I GOTTA GO! KINKI KIDS BANZAI!!

Some time before take-off

Been waiting for this day since I was 12, anticipating the day when I knew there was gonna be a national concert tour, waiting for weeks since I bought the air-tickets, and in a few hours time I’m on my way to fulfilling my childhood dream. Everyone, wish me a safe flight cause really, an air-crash would be most anti-climatic and disasterous. I bet I’ll be a vengeful ghost then who’ll return to haunt the Marinemesse Dome. Wahaha. TOUCHWOOD!!!!

Will update if I can over there.

PS: Why do I always quarrel with you? It has to happen every week. Am I really too childish and age gap seems to be the problem here? How long will you take my nonsense and how long can I take yours? Give me a few more years..maybe I will become the person I wish I could be.Someone..you’ll be even happier with. We can do this..right?

Friday is GOOD. Japan/ Kinki Kids drawing close!

ELLOOOOO~~~ This is prolly my final entry before I board the plane on Thursday 25th September 2008 to the land where my dreams will come true aka Japan! Freaking excited even though I have like, not enough money but whatever, shall use CIRRUS Mastercard to withdraw when pay comes in. PLEASE let the bank exchange rate be EXCELLENT. I got so many things to prepare. Mini shampoo bottles not bought, suitcase not bought, clothes not decided which to bring, itinerary not finalized AND I haven’t bought a new memory card for my camera to store more pictures. Speaking of which, I CAN’T FIND MY CAMERA CABLE!  Hence no pictures update for so long. I owe Penny and Meiyan our outing pictures!  GOMEN NE!

Back to topic of JAPAN, please remind me to

1) Refrain from buying pretty nonsense which I will have no use for.

2) NOT BUY Mickey-Minnie Mouse/Donald Duck/Goofy head masks when I am in Disneyland. (That goes to YOU too Meiyan! )

3) Have FUN even if I have to drop dead from exhaustion cause when I’m back in SG I’ll most likely get shit and be miserable and shrivel at work.

4) Take picture with a dustbin. WHAT? Come on, I heard dustbins are rare in Japan and Reiko didn’t fulfill my wish for me when I told her wayyy long ago when we first became friends, I TOLD her we had to do that.

5) Inhale DEEP the Japan air when I exit the airport or train station. Does air on another part of the world smell different?!

6) TAKE SILLY VIDEOS in broken Japanese like what those gaijins do when they go for exchange programmes in Japan. Ultra fun to watch such videos. Why can’t we let ourselves lose and be crazy once in awhile?

7) Love Kinki Kids more and cry when I see them. Bet the tears will automatically come because I’m too touched I’m seeing them for the first time in my 8-9 years of fandomhood.

ANYMORE I SHOULD ADD?!

I better get started on compiling my itinerary NOW and draw up a list of ‘to-brings’ cause IF I forget my train voucher/passport I’m in deep shit. OR if I get so preoccupied with the ‘major’ stuff, I forget to bring my sweet smelling small pillow to accompany me on my virgin trip to Japan. BWAHAHAHA.

Till my next update, toodles!

XOXO,
Liza

Saturday Brief Fangirlism

WAHAHA. Watch Koichi slap Tsuyo’s but on national TV! My Tsuyo is love! <3~

Jin’s so adorable.

Hey I’m sorry there ain’t much updates bout my life but truly, I’m not kidding I’ve been so busy I don’t have time for myself to even plan my Japan trip which is in..3 weeks? HOORAH. KK is holding winter con still. HOHO. But in Osaka and they will be countdown-ing on their own. At least, I won’t miss out much. If they were holding in Tokyo however, I’ll be beating myself.

Penny is leaving for UK soon. Though we are not as close as before, vicinity or relationship wise, I will miss her because she is always a friend I can rely on. Friends. I..don’t really have a friend whom I can just ring up to talk to. Like I told Terence before, I don’t think I have that close a friend. I guess, that’s the purpose of having many other friends –  to split that ‘burden’.

Kinki Kids – Secret Code PV

OMG I JUST SAW THIS! I KNOW I AM SO SLOW BUT REALLY! I LOVE THIS PV OF FIRED-UP, ROLLICKING JAZZY FUN. (A little like 99% Liberty, no?)

1) Wassup with the WIRELESS MIKES?! First they can just sing normally, then they place their mouths to the mikes. HAHA.

2) The muscians with exaggerated facial expressions when they get to ‘sing’.

3) TSUYOSHI! ZOMG. HE IS FLIRTING WITH THE CAMERA ALL .THE . TIME . His..eyes holding your gaze and then sliding away knowingly..those other purposeful deliberate actions! *FAINTS* This boy has gone high this year here I swear!

4) KOICHI ROLLING on the floor! *ROFL myself* (Unless my eyes are not cheating me.) This is so fun seeing the less ‘cool’ side of my  OUR prince. Acting all silly and goofy. *loves*

KK FANS WHO READ THIS, THOSE WHO AGREE WITH ME SAY "AYE!!"

I go to go now but I will rewatch this again. NO DOUBT!

FINALLY! – An Update!!

Hey HELLOOOOOOOO!!!! Where have all the people gone I wonder? Yes I know I have been MIA for quite some time so people have long thought I am dead for good. But nooooo! Come back and talk to me! I’m trying to revive my dead blog and you know, I think if leaving some nice messages for me will help breathe life into it, no?

Blame the impending Mooncake Festival and my late nights at work. Maybe the two times I skipped my meals, and me stuffing my face with pastries for dinner, me eating mooncake for breakfast, snacked some rival hotel’s snowskins mooncakes (what, cannot meh? Mooncakes free I eat la, expensive you know!) and late nights finally rendered me sick with sorethroat and phelgmy-cough. Yikes. And the fever! Why does fever make people have backaches? Geez.

Oh shit, I don’t know what to type bout my BORING life. BORING. My friends who have gone overseas to study have marvellous things to write about. From the contrasting building architecture of red brick walls to the long winding mysetrious streets, the brazenly cold weather which Singapore does NOT have the fortunate climate to own to the new friends they meet. I read about their new experiences of food, friends, pretty girls, cuter guys, lazy people in school, relearning subjects, missing lectures, entering wrong classes, losing their way in school, shopping for their own groceries, cooking their own food with roomies and..fun. Basically, doing things which epitomizes of an independent individual.

I can safely declare if I continue stay in Singapore, I will NEVER be an independent individual. Embarrassingly, my mother who is a full-time housewife, doubles as a full-time maid whose salary is worst that of a true full-time maid. I come home from work and just throw myself into bed, neglecting the eyesore mountain of clothes which requires my ironing attention. Tsk tsk. It is a sad neglected mountain of clothes, crumbling ever so under tremendous amount of weight which is added every few days. The kindest thing I do every night to ease its load is to just iron the most 2 pieces of clothes for next day of mind gruelling work. That’s it. HAHA.

The weather in Singapore these days is oscillating between warm and cooling. Today, it is balmy. Mild and cool. Sun nothing too strong, gentle breeze. Ahh. Good weather for a sleep-in but I was forced to wake up from my sick patient’s rest to handle some Mooncake Delivery emergencies. Gah. Did I mention my hair is in bad state again? I must go for a trim. I am thinking of visiting Komachi hair salon at Liang Court. 20% off for newcomers and I get Japanese hairstylists! I will go after Japan I think. Hopefully I am not bald by then.

In my next entry, I will talk about choosing my University to study here. Damn, I am not qualified for a Citibank study loan cause my dad does not earn enough. But I live in a freaking Masionette. But I qualify not for a study loan. How ironic is that?  I shall catch some more rest before I get ready to go see Bbay’s food demonstration at King Corpthornes Hotel (Corperthorne? Corpthornes? What’s the spelling anyway?) .

1am at night

It’s 1am now.

What am I doing here?

I hate my new bed.

Or rather, thin mattress on new bed frame.

Where on earth did my new mattress go to? Why hasn’t it arrived?

The old thin mattress is fine on the floor. Cause it’s FLAT.

Now it’s lying on top of METAL POLES and I FEEL LIKE I’M SLEEPING ON METAL POLES EVERY NIGHT.

My poor, aching back.

(PS: Tickets update: Got 2 more tickets for the 30th September. One more ticket for 1 October and I can stop having nightmares I can’t make it for the concert or the tickets in Japan are sold out. No more mental toture. Please. PLEASE GIVE ME GOOD SEATS!! Kami-sama, ONEGAI!!)
